We are a social bunch who love to network and keep up to date on what is happening in Learning and Development. Here is what we have been up to in the last month or so.
Dan Carter “The Art of Winning” – September 2023
As platinum partners of the Executive Institute, Harvest was delighted to host a client table at this event and get to meet the very successful world-renowned rugby player Dan Carter. Dan played for the All Blacks in their Rugby World Cup winning teams of 2011 and 2015, becoming one of 43 players to have won multiple Rugby World Cups. He shared some excellent insight from his book, and we got to meet the legend himself.
Kellie Harrington – World champion and Olympic gold medallist – November 2023
At another fantastic event as platinum partners of the Executive Institute, we and our clients got the opportunity to meet one of our own Kellie Harrington. Kellie is an Irish amateur boxer, amateur World champion and an Olympic gold medallist. She was a silver medallist in the light welterweight division at the 2016 Women’s World Boxing Championships. She won the gold medal in the lightweight division at the 2018 Women’s World Boxing Championships and won the gold medal in the lightweight division at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games . It was wonderful to hear from an elite athlete that is so gracious and grounded in her achievement. We wish her continued success, especially as she prepares for the 2024 Olympics.
The Harvest Christmas Party – December 2023
It is that time of the year again and last week, we had a wonderful night celebrating Christmas as a team. Here is a picture that will give you an insight in to first part of our evening. Unfortunately, the rest of the photos are for our viewing only, but a super night was had by all.
Meeting our Idol Amy Edmondson – December 2023
As a proud partner of the L&DI National Conference, we were thrilled to have a unique opportunity on the evening preceding the event. We had the pleasure of meeting with Amy Edmondson, the esteemed keynote speaker, during an exclusive reception hosted at the Shelbourne Hotel.
She graciously signed a copy of her award-winning book “Right kind of Wrong: Why Learning to Fail Can Teach Us to Thrive”. It was a wonderful evening and a great opportunity to catch up with our community of L&D peers and friends. Thank you to the L&DI for a memorable event.
The National Learning & Development Conference – reLEARNING for reINVENTION – December 2023
A huge congratulations to the L&DI for delivering the best industry event of 2023. It was a fantastic day during which we met inspirational, motivational, and informative speakers, took time out to network, mingled with like-minded peers, and indulged in world class learning experiences.
