Our Client Corner – July 2021

We are still on a high having seen the fantastic entries for the IITD National Training Awards and we are delighted that our team of Learning Specialists get to partner with organisations that are doing equally great work. You can find out more about the behind the scenes of the event here, or the winners of the Pearse Walsh Award, or the insights and trends that were discussed during the awards by clicking here.

Here is a flavour of some of our current client projects:

Return to Office Programme – Hybrid leadership

We are partnering with a financial institution assisting them to transition their people managers towards a pre-COVID working environment in their return to the office initiative. We are designing a high impact virtual session, supported by a train the trainer course to facilitate the global implementation requirement. We are also designing digital byte size support infographics for post programme, self-managed learning.

Succession and Talent Planning

The challenge for recruiting and retaining clinical nursing staff in nursing homes has risen in recent times. We are now working with a very progressive nursing home group to design the competencies, career paths and development approaches for this important job family. The collaborative workshops are due to start next week, using the Harvest approach of the 3Es and 70.20.10 development model.

Resilience

Ensuring people managers have a toolkit to look after their mental toughness and the challenges of day-to-day people management is becoming increasingly common. We are delighted to be partnering with a client in the manufacturing sector, who identified this as a need-based tool based on feedback from a fortnightly survey that is conducted for all. All people managers will attend a session on resilience in the coming weeks and receive a toolkit to assist with the development of knowledge, skills, and mindset in this very important development area.

Sales Team Development

This year has been a very busy year for sales team development programmes, and we have partnered with several companies in the FMCG sector and the financial sector, to design and deliver comprehensive programmes based on specific business challenges and needs. We are using our significant expertise, to help these organisations to:

  • Assess and benchmark sales team capability
  • Develop processes and infrastructure for success such as a defined value proposition, sales engagement models, growth plan template etc.
  • Upskill the sales teams to effectively implement the skills required for consultative engagement and increased sales pipeline content
  • Help the sales managers become sales coaches through our sales manager coaching programme and rhythm that is part of the infield implementation phase of the programme
